Happy Birthday Mommy,

Since your last birthday, you have taught me to say all kinds of words, and introduced me to so many new friends, and taught me to do so many things on my own. You brought me to playgrounds all over the city, and even made a playground on the roof for me, we went to birthday parties, and bouncy castles, and beaches, and zoos and aquariums. We did a charity walk, and easter egg hunt, and took a big boat to Martha's Vineyard. We visited Nonna, Nonno, Ya-Ya, and Hinkpa, and took a lot of walks. We went to a wedding and have a new official Auntie Julie. We had apple picking, and pumpkin picking, and I dressed up as an owl. And in between all these things, we did too many things together to list.

I love you, and thank you for being the greatest Mommy to me. Happy Birthday.

Just a quick note - last night was Enzo's first night in his new toddler bed. We got him the p'kolino toddler bed, and he loved it and helped me assemble it last night. He slept very well, and did manage to "fall" out of bed onto a big pillow on the floor (only a few inches below the bed) but stayed sound asleep. We'll have pictures soon.

He starts off with his counting, but he only gets to "one". I love how he goes crosseyed at the end when he's looking at my cell phone!

Happy Mother's Day Mom.

Today is my second Mother's Day that you've taken care of me, and the first one where I can say "ma ma" and give you random hugs and kisses.

This year you have taught me so much, You have given me so many new toys and games, and showed me so much of my world. I love going all over the city with you, and I'm even doing better holding your hand!

I love you, and I can't tell you how much you mean to me, but I'm going to keep trying until I get better at it!

Tonight, when I brought Enzo up to go to bed, while laying on his changing table, he pointed to his crib and said "bed", "bed", "go bed", "go bed".

It was slow going walking from the Aquarium back toward downtown, as Enzo had to explore every bench, planter, and snowball he could reach.
